This morning I awoke to about an inch and a half of very heavy, wet snow. Since DH was to take the car (which is housed in the one car garage) for inspection, I slowly shoveled the driveway. As I was finishing, the township plow came by.
While he was on his way out of our road, his plow dropped and he was plowing with both the top and the bottom of the plow. This had the effect of tearing up the asphalt at the bottom of our driveway, in front of the ditch and the road surface itself. I will be contacting the township for repairs.
As I was taking the damage pictures, the first bit of blue sky appeared.
Just thought I'd share.
Edited to add: The Township has been emailed and immediate repair has been requested along with the information that these pictures have been posted on this blog.

Sounds like Willcox, the streets are a mess and they just spent alot for holes/cracks in a redone road. Glad the sun is coming out, sky is blue. :) Not so happy you have a wet mess to deal with.:(
Try to find a little knit time for stress release.
When the snowplow went by here Thursday the snow it was throwing hit the neighbors empty Herby Curby (plastic trashcan on wheels) and threw it into the ice cold creek where it immediately sunk into the water.
Poor neighbor guy had an awful time getting it back. Herby's are very heavy to haul up a slippery winter creek bank when filled with water.
Is this the time to remark that here in SE Arizona high desert land we are in the 70's - doors and windows open to freshen house out? sky is clear, sun is mucho warm - delightful.
Wow. I think that's all I can say.
