What are you doin' NY Eve?

Tawny wants to know what YOU are doing New Year's Eve? He thinks being by the fireplace is a particularly good place since...

THIS is what Russ and I awoke to and have been taking care of. This is an inch and a half of the wettest, heaviest snow possible. Right now there's been a misty rain/occasional snowflake.

Hope your New Year's Eve is a safe one. Ours will be quiet. (Except for the valley idiots who will be shooting off guns at midnight and fireworks every hour on the hour from dark-thirty through about 2 AM, 2010.)

We're staying in too. Suppose to be 0 before the sun goes down here and we have had snow every day since the day after Christmas.

We're going to sit and drink coffee, watch movies and I'm going to knit on the green sweater. Bob will be in bed long before midnite, but I am going to try and get a glimpse/picture of the blue moon.

Happy and Safe New Year to you and Russ!

I see the snow storm from AZ finally made it to PA. All we had was a dusting. Mother Nature must have figured you need a clean start to a new year.

I think Tawny has the right idea a warm fire along with some knitting, rrading, and nap time is a perfect day.

We had a party at our house. It was so much fun. We all let our Band Hero ego's come out and danced, sang and played the night away.

Yes, I do think that Winston might be in need of something warm from his mum. His poor little feet are freezing in our negative temps. Negative 25 doesn't seem to be his kind of weather.

TT says "here's the fireplace, but where's the fire?' he was wise to stay in and let the people shovel snow. pretty to look at outdoors at any rate. i see you have at least one other friend making the Green Sweater, making it more fun than ever.
